Change

We’re Scholarship Prep, a TK-8 charter network in Southern California serving 1600 kids across four campuses. Our flagship campus in Orange County (SPOC) is a countywide charter focused on supporting students experiencing homelessness and foster care.

Scholarship Prep is honored to have been selected by the California Department of Education as one of 20 schools or districts statewide to receive the Homeless Innovative Programs (HIP) grant. Through this funding, we are excited to share our unique Community Meeting Program toolkit with resources available on this website and through free online webinars.

Our Scholars Reach Higher and Dream Bigger

SPOC was intentionally designed to have a comprehensive, whole child approach to student success. Our Community Meeting toolkit is a model of innovative practice (MIP) that was developed to better identify, support and serve our historically underserved student population and is the main driver of the increase in the identification of youth experiencing homelessness at our campus.
